LED lighting for sauna Challenge

While talking to vendors specializing in sauna, it became clear that the use of LED lighting is not common in high temperature and humid settings.
Even today, many saunas still reply on the incandescent bulbs, which pose challenges in terms of lifespan and maintenance.
In response, we embarked on the development of the “UQ Flex Sauna,” an LED line lighting system designed specifically for saunas. We believed that integrating LED technology could positively impact society by enhancing the sauna experience. Our goal was to create a durable product capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of sauna environments, while also fostering a new approach to “create a culture” to relaxation spaces as indirect lighting designs are still not common.
Through this experience, we realized the importance of having the courage to take on challenges without being bound by traditional designs, which we will apply to our future development.
