What we have learned from launching our overseas business

A sudden offer to work on an assignment in China immediately raised my interest. Without much hesitation, I decided to accept the challenge. At that time, our company had not yet expanded overseas, and I had no idea that I would play a pivotal role in launching our first international venture in China.

In those early days, our company’s cash flow was critically strained. Sales were low, funds dwindled daily, and even salary payments were at risk. We managed these challenging times by securing upfront payments from clients and reaching agreements with suppliers to postpone payments. The fear of facing a crisis that would threaten the company’s survival remains vivid in my memory to this day.

Despite these challenges, our business gradually regained stability and has continued to grow ever since. This experience reinforced a core mindset that setbacks and failures are part of the journey. Accepting harsh realities, facing difficulties, getting back up on your feet are essential to long-term success.
