“Warm white LED” is the foundation of Luci, a company commited to embrace new challenges
IN 2007, LEDs were considered to be unsuitable for architectural lighting due to their limited color output in blue-white, high color temperature light. After gaining success in the signage industry, Luci embarked on the challenge of expanding into the broader architectural lighting market.
Through persistent engagement with design firms and lighting manufacturers, Luci became convinced that the widespread adoption of LED lighting could be achieved if a variety of light bulb colors were available.
However, when they requested a major manufacturer to produce LEDs with the desired warm, light bulb-like hues, the company was unable to meet this request. Luci began a journey to find a new partner company and foster trust to independently develop and commercialize LEDs with the sought-after color characteristics.
Through these dedicated efforts, Luci became a pioneer in the diffusion of light bulb LEDs in the lighting industry and established a reputation as a brand always eager to embrace innovation and overcome challenges.
